Moving day

I take Colin to the airport this evening so he can start his nearly 40-hour journey to our new home. I follow him on Saturday, and late Sunday we’ll reunite in the Casablanca airport.

We’ll be online from the start, both at our Casablanca hotel and our Rabat short-term rental. We’ll have about a week to find a longer-term living situation before our language programs start, so that’s priority #1. Luckily, things are coming together such that we have glimmers of connections to people on the ground, and those connections have offered assurances and help when we arrive. Apprehensions remain, but this might turn out to be OK, after all.
